Donegal House Kaikōura can cater for all manor of functions and special events. From weddings, birthday celebrations & family reunions, to corporate events & small conferences. Conferences
Donegal House Kaikōura is a great place to hold your next work conference or business meeting, and will work with you to provide all that you need. We have a variety of menu options to suit your budget and numbers, and can create the best option for you from the restaurant menus, set menu and finger food/BBQ options.
Donegal House requires confirmation of the total numbers 10 working days prior to the conference or event. The final numbers provided at this stage will be the catering number charged to the account. If the number of people changes, please provide as much notice as possible and we will cater and charge accordingly.

The Irish Stone Cottage
Built in the style of the traditional Irish stone cottages lived in by the ancestors of the local Boyd family, it is a totally unique venue.
The Stone Cottage has an Irish theme in décor and features impressive Macrocarpa tables that will seat 100 people, boardroom style, with room to add extra tables for numbers up to 120. Depending on the style and size of the conference/event you are looking for, the large tables can be rearranged or moved out completely. We have smaller tables as well as 10 round tables available for you to use.
Completely self-contained with toilets, ceiling mounted projector, lectern with microphone and hand held microphone, stage area and sound system with DVD and video functions and wireless internet; it is private from the main hotel bar and restaurant area. Private bar and kitchen facilities are available on request. Please ask for more information when booking.
Subject to the time of year and other bookings the Stone Cottage is generally available to you from 3pm the day before the conference/event for you to set up and arrange however you wish.
